Welcome back to Day 2 of our journey to radiant, luminous skin! Yesterday was all about resetting and hydrating. Today, we are taking it a step further by gently buffing away dullness and locked-in impurities to reveal the fresh, glowing skin underneath.
If you want a natural, lit-from-within radiance without harsh chemicals, this simple two-step DIY ritual is exactly what your skin needs today.
Let’s dive into today’s remedy..
The Day 2 Recipe: Red Lentil & Beetroot Glow Mask
This powerhouse combination works beautifully to gently exfoliate, even out skin tone, and leave a gorgeous, natural flush.
🌟 Why It Works
Red Lentil (Masoor Dal) Powder:
fantastic, gentle natural exfoliator that helps clear dead skin cells and tightens pores .
Beetroot Juice or Powder:
Packed with antioxidants and Vitamin C, it helps brighten the complexion and gives a instant, healthy rosy glow.
Raw Milk or Rose Water :
Hydrates, soothes, and acts as a nourishing base to balance the treatment.
🥣 Step-by-Step Preparation & Application
1. Mix the Base: In a small, clean glass bowl, combine the red lentil powder and beetroot juice.
2. Create the Paste:Slowly add the raw milk (or rose water) a little at a time. Stir well until it forms a smooth, spreadable paste. Tip: Let it sit for 2 minutes so the lentil powder softens slightly.
3.Prep Your Face: Wash your face with a gentle, sulfate-free cleanser and pat it dry.
Apply evenly: Using clean fingers or a brush, apply an even layer of the mask across your face and neck, avoiding the sensitive eye area.
Relax & Rest: Let the mask sit for 10 to 15 minutes until it is semi-dry.
Gentle Exfoliation: Splash a little lukewarm water on your face. Using very light, circular motions, massage your skin for 1 minute to let the lentils gently exfoliate.
Rinse & Lock it In: Rinse thoroughly with cool water and pat dry. Immediately follow up with your favorite lightweight moisturizer or a few drops of a hydrating facial oil to lock in that fresh glow.
Glow Tip for Today: Consistency is everything! After washing off your mask, remember to drink a tall glass of water. Glow from the outside starts with hydration from the inside.
